Research on Innovation of Teaching Model in Smart Classrooms Based on Activity Theory—Taking the Course of Workplace English as an Example

Abstract: As an emerging teaching model, teaching and learning in smart classroom environments has become one of the hot research topics in the field of education. Activity theory, as an important branch of cognitive psychology, emphasizes the subjectivity of learners in practical activities such as knowledge construction and ability generation. This study takes workplace English in the college English module course as an example to explore how to construct and implement a smart classroom teaching model based on activity theory. The aim is to achieve deep integration of teaching activities and modern information technology, optimize the teaching process, improve teaching quality, and promote deep learning and comprehensive development of students.
