Reform and Practice of Blended Online and Offline Teaching in Engineering Mechanics Course

Abstract: The knowledge of civil engineering courses in rail transit is often based on mechanics, and professional knowledge is closely related to technology. As an important foundational course, engineering mechanics plays a crucial role in talent cultivation. This paper analyzes the problems in the teaching of engineering mechanics course, and constructs a blended online and offline teaching mode. It carries out diversified teaching reform practices such as modular teaching, thematic project-based teaching, and engineering case-based teaching. Explored the integration of online and offline course resource construction plans and course assessment and evaluation methods. The curriculum construction and reform have achieved certain results, which can provide reference for similar courses.
