Abstract: Traditional Chinese medicine, as a unique and original technological resource in China, is one of the important paths for its innovative development through interdisciplinary integration. Traditional Chinese medicine colleges cultivate innovative talents who intersect medical and engineering fields by offering engineering majors. However, at present, traditional teaching models are adopted for engineering majors in traditional Chinese medicine universities, and there is still room for improvement in teaching level. Project based teaching method is widely used in engineering education. In combination with the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine, in terms of cultivating the ability of combining medicine with work for undergraduates in colleges and universities of traditional Chinese medicine, project based teaching and education mode is carried out, and the method of implementing echelon project based teaching is explored, with a view to providing reference and reference for the development of engineering teaching in colleges and universities of traditional Chinese medicine, in order to help traditional Chinese medicine inherit the essence, keep upright and innovate.
