Abstract: Teacher-student cooperative assessment is a new evaluation model created by production-oriented approach. It integrates assessment, teaching and learning. It not only solves the problems encountered by teachers in writing assessment, but also takes students as the center and teachers as the leader, allowing students to participate in the assessment personally. This study takes the sophomores from English major as the research objects to carry out a one-semester teaching practice of teacher-student cooperative assessment, in order to explore the feasibility, operability and effectiveness of teacher-student cooperative assessment. The research shows that the teacher-student cooperative assessment can stimulate students' writing interest and motivation, improve students'writing level and ability, and alleviate the problem of insufficient evaluation of large-scale class size.
