An Application of “Production-Oriented Approach” to a Blending“Golden Course”of Literature——A Case Study of A Brief History of English Literature

Abstract: This paper aims to provide new perspectives to cultivate all kinds of professional technical and management talents who can understand foreign languages in the new era, and to improve the cultural literacy of college students, as well as their logical, dialectical and innovative thinking abilities. This paper takes the Chinese native foreign language teaching method“Production-Oriented Approach”as its theoretical framework to provide practical suggestions for the construction of a blending“golden course”of literature, that is to set high-level teaching goals, innovate teaching content and teaching methods, improve the evaluation, and finally implement the teaching process of“motivating, enabling, and assessing”.
