Research on the Application of Experiential Teaching in Business Administration Teaching—— Taking the Performance Management Course as an Example

Abstract: Reforming the teaching of performance management courses is a practical requirement for cultivating talent for college students majoring in human resource management. Experiential teaching is an innovative exploration of the teaching reform of performance management courses. In the teaching practice of performance management course, there are three major difficulties: selection bias in case selection, reasonable application of teaching methods and evaluation of teaching results. Based on the theory and practice of experiential teaching, this paper analyzes the difficulties in the application of experiential teaching in performance management courses and proposes optimization suggestions: firstly, optimize teaching content with practice as the guide, secondly, enrich classroom teaching forms with student participation as the guide, and thirdly, focus on pre, middle, and post teaching management with teaching effectiveness as the guide.
