Exploring the Relationship between Entrepreneurship Education and College Students’ Entrepreneurial Consciousness under the Theory of Planned Behavior

Abstract: This paper investigates the influence of entrepreneurship education on college students’entrepreneurial consciousness based on the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), using the theoretical background and research hypotheses of TPB, and employing quantitative research methods to analyze the mediating variables between entrepreneurship education and college students’entrepreneurial consciousness through data. The results of SEM“structural equation modeling”conducted by questionnaire survey of college students with AMOS software showed that entrepreneurship education has a significant positive direct effect on entrepreneurial awareness. The three constructs of TPB were also used to examine the positive and indirect effects of entrepreneurship education on entrepreneurial consciousness among college students. The results of this study convey important information to entrepreneurship educators about the impact of entrepreneurship education on college students’entrepreneurial consciousness, and the results of this study will bring scientific enlightenment to college entrepreneurship educators.
