Study on Course Teaching of Ship Structural Mechanics Based on Application Example

Abstract: The training of engineering practice ability is one of the training objectives of cultivating innovative practical talents for engineering majors in colleges and universities, which is becoming more and more important under the new engineering training scheme. Ship Structural Mechanics is a core basic course for ship and ocean engineering, which combines the specific structures of ships and ocean structures to carry out theoretical research on mechanics and solve practical engineering problems, and is an important course carrier for realizing the training objectives of new engineering major. Through the penetration of engineering practical application thinking and method into the teaching idea, teaching content and teaching method of Ship Structural Mechanics, and the association of theoretical knowledge and practical application, students can achieve the purpose of applying what they have learned and applying what they have learned.
