Abstract: Independent colleges are a new form of school running in the process of increasing demand for higher education in our country and continuous development and innovation. Due to its own characteristics, the education of independent colleges and universities should not only cultivate application-oriented talents with professional theoretical knowledge and practical skills, but also shoulder the responsibility of cultivating innovative talents. How to improve the quality of talent training in independent colleges is particularly important. In contrast, the flexible management concept highlights the characteristic management of students and is more innovative. This article focuses on the specific research and analysis of student education management in independent colleges. On this basis, it proposes corresponding flexible management concepts and specific measures to provide countermeasures for student management and help independent colleges to cultivate more outstanding of applied talents.
