Abstract: In order to improve the teaching quality and students' comprehensive ability of ship and ocean engineering, this paper proposes to integrate virtual simulation experiment into classroom teaching. According to the application mode of virtual simulation equipment and professional characteristics, eight teaching modes are designed. According to the teaching contents of different courses, one or more of them are selected to cooperate with classroom teaching to complete teaching tasks, the decomposition and reconstruction of classroom teaching mode for major courses are completed. Taking the course of ship modeling and aesthetics design as an example, this paper discusses the teaching method of the new teaching mode. In practical application, the new teaching mode complements the perceptual part of classroom teaching, improves students' interest in learning, and has good effect.
