The Application of Career Anchor Theory in the Career Planning Stage Division of College Students in the Department of Finance and Accounting in Applied Universities——Take an Application-Oriented University in Guangxi as an Example

Abstract: Facing the complex and changeable social environment, the uncertainty of college students' employment is becoming increasingly prominent. Providing comprehensive career guidance and promoting the employment rate of graduates is a pressing topic of college career service this year. According to the survey of the research group, the career anchor types of the college students majoring in finance and accounting focus on the stable career anchor and the life-type career anchor, and most of them will not change their career path no matter what the influence is. Therefore, this paper proposes that college students will go through five stages during the undergraduate years, namely, forming stage, growing stage, exploring stage, establishing stage and maintaining stage, then makes a preliminary analysis of the subjective and objective factors of the five stages.
