Abstract: Graduate re-examination is an important part of the postgraduate admission. It’s related to the very interests of the candidates and the fairness of education. It’s vital for the improvement of the postgraduate enrollment quality. With the method of questionnaire survey, the framework of the first-level and second-level indices for the evaluation system of graduate re-examination was determined. The weight of the first-level and second-level evaluation indices is calculated by the AHP methodology. The weight of interview experts is slightly updated with the average deviation coefficients. At last, the effectiveness of the evaluation index system for graduate re-examination was tested by case study. A more scientific and fair evaluation index system for graduate re-examination is established. It provides a reference for the graduate re-examination of other universities and research institutes.
