Practice Research on Maker Education in Higher Vocational Colleges under the Background of Mass Innovation and Entrepreneurship——Take General Elective Courses"Maker Culture and Practice"as an Example

Abstract: Maker education, as a new educational model and concept for cultivating various innovative talents, presents different connotations at different levels of education. This article analyzes the training objectives of higher vocational colleges, the background requirements for innovation and entrepreneurship, so as to determine the focus of maker education in higher vocational colleges under the background of “Mass Innovation and Entrepreneurship”. The research takes the general elective course as a practice path of maker education. Based on the characteristics of higher vocational colleges and students’ academic conditions, the course of "maker culture and practice" is taken as a practice example to formulate maker education’s teaching strategy, content and instructional design, and summarizes and prospects the course practice.
