Research on the Reform of Curriculum Assessment Model of Introduction to Energy Development

Abstract: The reform of curriculum assessment mode is an important content of teaching reform. Based on the Outcome Based Education (OBE) teaching concept, this paper explores and researches the reform of the course assessment model of "Introduction to Energy Development", a general education courses offered by universities with characteristics of energy industry, analyzed the characteristics and shortcomings of the current assessment model and proposes reform measures such as reducing the proportion of open-book exam scores, refining the content of the usual scores, increasing the importance of process assessment and integrating ideological and political elements into the assessment content, which will help perfect the assessment system and improve the teaching quality of the course. In this way, the interest of non-energy majors in exploring basic knowledge related to energy development is stimulated.
