Abstract: In 2019, China put forward the policy of "higher vocational college enrollment expansion", which strives to accelerate the development of modern vocational education and expand the enrollment of higher vocational college students. At the same time, it can encourage more that year's high school graduates and veterans, laid-off workers, migrant workers and others to continue to pursue their studies in vocational colleges. Under the background of enrollment expansion, college students' innovation and entrepreneurship education is actively carried out, which plays a positive role in improving college students' comprehensive ability and promoting knowledge innovation. At the same time, the demand for talent development is adapted, which makes it more adaptable to the development of society. However, there are still a series of problems in the education of innovation and entrepreneurship in higher vocational colleges. Therefore, effective strategies should be explored to improve college students' ability of innovation and entrepreneurship in combination with the reality of the school.
