Abstract: In recent years, with the rapid development of public health service industry and the emergency demand of major public health emergencies, grassroots professionals in the field of public health service industry are seriously lacking. Based on this, it is of great significance to strengthen the effective connection between higher health vocational education and public health service, and contribute to the high-quality development of public health service industry. However, the current higher health vocational education is not close enough in the connection between professional teaching and industry demand, curriculum practice and post ability, academic planning and career planning, school-enterprise cooperation and employment development, etc., which needs to be further strengthened and improved. To this end, it puts forward some feasible countermeasures and suggestions, such as "taking industry demand as the guidance, innovating professional teaching", "taking post ability as the basis, strengthening course practice", "taking career planning as the direction, improving academic planning", "taking employment development as the goal, improving school-enterprise cooperation" and so on.
