Abstract: The employment of college students becomes increasingly severe. Every year graduates of finance and accounting whose number of job seekers stands in the top list, are facing unprecedented pressure in employment. The introduction of career anchor theory in career planning course lets students know their career orientation more intuitively, lets teachers teach the career planning courses more specifically. The results show that the number of students who choose stability and lifestyle occupation anchor are significantly more than that of other occupation anchor types in independent colleges. Career planning course should be directed by guiding college students of finance and accounting to plan early; gaining a complete understanding of stable position; setting periodical target and improving personal quality.
