Abstract: The rapid development of information technology makes people step into the network age. Under this background, the generation of network language enriches the information content of Chinese language and culture, which has a certain impact on the development of Chinese language and literature, and also injects new impetus into the innovation of Chinese language and literature. In this regard, based on the connotation and characteristics of network language and Chinese language and literature, this paper focuses on the analysis of the positive and negative influence of network language on the development of Chinese language and literature in the new era, and puts forward the development path of Chinese language and literature under the background of the new era, aiming at promoting the innovative development of Chinese language and literature in the new era, and realizing the effect of promoting Chinese culture with Chinese language and literature.
