Abstract: The paper expounds the meaning of Chinese traditional family culture for the individual,family and community form origin respects and era intension. New engineering construction put forward higher character and academic requirement for students,and then this paper emphasize the significance of Chinese traditional family culture for cultivating the sense of responsibility and patriotism,as well as the fundamental task of “cultivating people by virtue”. Finally,it proposes four feasible paths for Integration of the Chinese traditional family culture into Ideological and Political Education in colleges and Universities: strengthen the education of core socialist values,perfect the general cultural courses,emphasize engineering culture education,and improve campus culture.
