Countermeasures for the Construction of Digital Media Technology Teachers in Higher Vocational Colleges in the Context of the “The Belt and Road ”Initiative

Abstract: With the deepening of the“The Belt and Road”Initiative, the international demand for economic, cultural and technological exchanges is growing day by day, which puts forward higher requirements for talent cultivation of digital media technology majors in higher vocational colleges. This paper takes the construction of the teaching staff of digital media technology specialty in higher vocational colleges under the background of the“The Belt and Road”Initiative as the research object, and discusses the goal, status quo and optimization path of the construction of the teaching staff. Through the investigation of the existing teaching staff, it is found that the current teaching staff is still insufficient to meet the professional development needs of digital media technology in the context of the“The Belt and Road”Initiative. Therefore, this article proposes six measures to enhance teachers'digital literacy, strengthen their practical skills, encourage them to conduct academic research and technological innovation, establish a long-term mechanism for teachers'professional development, cultivate teachers with an international perspective, and improve incentive and assessment mechanisms. The goal is to cultivate a high-quality teaching staff that adapted to international exchanges and provides a solid guarantee for the high-quality development of the digital media technology profession.
