Abstract: Water conservancy engineering is a comprehensive engineering discipline dedicated to regulating surface water and groundwater, and achieving the goal of eliminating harm and promoting benefits. With the deepening implementation of the national“River Strategy”and the accelerated promotion of smart water conservancy construction, the water conservancy industry has an increasingly urgent demand for high-level applied talents with solid theoretical foundations, excellent engineering practical abilities, and innovative consciousness. However, the traditional master's program in water conservancy engineering faces problems such as imperfect university-enterprise collaborative education mechanism and insufficient interdisciplinary integration and compound ability cultivation. In response to these problems, this article proposes and explores a reform path of the“integration of industry and education, two-way drive”training mode to solve the problem of supply and demand mismatch in current talent cultivation, and provide solid talent support for the high-quality development of the water conservancy industry.
