Teaching Reform of Ship Engineering Technology Major in Vocational Colleges Targeting the Training of On-site Engineer Talents

Abstract: In order to further improve the quality of talent cultivation in vocational colleges and meet the urgent demand for on-site engineer talents in the high-quality development of China's shipbuilding industry, this article explores and analyzes the measures to promote the teaching reform of ship engineering technology major in vocational colleges from the perspective of on-site engineer talent cultivation. It analyzes the importance of promoting the training of on-site engineer talents in vocational ship engineering major, and finally clarifies the ideas for teaching reform based on the current teaching problems. Multiple measures are proposed, including restructuring course content, deepening the integration of industry and education, strengthening teacher training, etc., in order to effectively promote the teaching reform of ship engineering technology major in vocational colleges and provide a continuous supply of on-site engineer talents for the development of ship engineering field.
