Abstract: Cross border e-commerce, as the forefront of digital trade development, is rapidly expanding its global business landscape. Under the interaction between the changes in the world trade pattern and the adjustment of domestic economic structure, cross-border e-commerce has become a strategic engine for the transformation and upgrading of foreign trade. This article focuses on the talent cultivation issues in the cross-border e-commerce industry at the forefront of digital trade. Firstly, it analyzes the two major bottlenecks in current talent cultivation: immature ability enhancement paths and mismatched talent supply and demand. Then propose innovative paths such as building a precise practical teaching system, utilizing information technology to expand training content, and establishing a diversified teacher mechanism. The case of Yuxi Normal University shows that the “classification difference training and theoretical practice integration”model has improved students'comprehensive abilities, achieved a positive interaction between innovation and entrepreneurship education and employment ability cultivation, and provided a reference training program for relevant majors in universities.
