Abstract: Advanced soil mechanics, as a core compulsory course in the graduate training system of civil engineering, plays an important role in the cultivation of master's and doctoral talents in the field of geotechnical engineering. To better enhance graduate students'practical abilities and their capacity to solve complex engineering problems, graduate education is centered on the mission of fostering virtue through education. This involves continuously deepening comprehensive reforms in graduate education and striving to build an excellent graduate training system. Starting with curriculum reform, efforts are made to establish diversified teaching resources, construct a blended online and offline teaching model, and develop multi-channel practical teaching methods. These initiatives aim to improve graduate students'self-directed learning abilities and ensure the enhancement of the intrinsic quality of graduate education.
