Abstract: A comprehensive analysis of the SPOC teaching mode for the fermentation engineering course reveals three main components: pre-class preparation, classroom teaching, and post-class extension. Before class, students receive learning tasks and objectives via an online platform. During class, interactive activities, including teacher-student interactions and group discussions, are facilitated using tools like Rain Classroom and Tencent Classroom. After class, online tests and group tasks help reinforce knowledge application and internalization. This integration of SPOC with MOOC resources and classroom interactions boosts student engagement and participation, enhancing teaching effectiveness.
