Abstract: Faced with the demand for talent cultivation in undergraduate remote sensing majors under the background of new engineering and“Double First Class”construction, this article takes the remote sensing science and technology major of Xinjiang University as an example to explore and practice the integrated teaching mode of“teaching + learning + research + application”. This model is student-centered, through restructuring the curriculum system, innovating teaching methods, reforming assessment mechanisms, driving teaching with real scientific research projects, deeply integrating classroom teaching, self-directed learning, scientific research training, and application practice, guiding students to enhance their comprehensive abilities in solving practical problems. Practice has shown that this model significantly improves students'participation in scientific research, competition results, academic output, innovation ability, and comprehensive quality, providing valuable reference for the training of remote sensing professionals in“Double First Class”universities.
