Abstract: With the rapid development of society and the acceleration of the popularization of higher education, more and more students have the opportunity to receive higher education, which undoubtedly injects new vitality into China's economic and social development. However, the popularization of higher education has also brought about a problem that cannot be ignored - the difficulty of employment for college students. It not only relates to personal growth and development, but also directly affects social stability and harmony, becoming a focus of attention for the government, universities, and all sectors of society. Based on this, the article aims to explore the current situation and optimization path of employment education for college students under the background of popularization of higher education, in order to provide theoretical basis and practical reference for improving the employment environment and enhancing the quality of employment for college students.
