Abstract: From the perspective of career management, the paper analyzes the shortcomings of Russian teachers'research ability in private colleges and universities. Based on the intrinsic connection between teachers'scientific research ability and career management, the paper proposes the paths of enhancing scientific research awareness, improving planning ability, creating a scientific research atmosphere, perfecting incentive mechanism, integrating scientific research resources, strengthening team building, and strengthening external exchanges and cooperation, aiming at comprehensively improving the scientific research ability of Russian language teachers in private colleges and universities, promoting the construction and development of the discipline of Russian, and highlighting the unique value and far-reaching significance of Russian language education in the contemporary society.
