Abstract: With the rapid development of digital intelligence technology, artificial intelligence (AI) technology has been increasingly applied in the field of education, particularly demonstrating significant potential in college English teaching. This paper introduces the concepts of personalized learning and AI-assisted learning, and discusses the prominent issues existing in current college English teaching, including the monotony of self-directed learning resources before class, the absence of personalized learning plan, and the inadequacy of evaluation and feedback in fostering learning. Subsequently, an AI-driven personalized learning program for college English is proposed, aiming to promote personalized learning among students and enhance the effectiveness of college English learning through the construction of personalized learning resources, the design of personalized learning paths, the implementation of personalized interactions, and the generation of personalized evaluation and feedback.
