Abstract: Cardiac ultrasound (also known as echocardiography) is a key and difficult part in ultrasonic medicine. Due to the complexity of the internal anatomical structure of the heart and the“planarization”of ultrasound images, it is challenging for beginners to connect ultrasound images with the internal structure of the heart and to quickly grasp the ultrasonic characteristics of the circulatory system, which has become a teaching difficulty in cardiac ultrasound. With the advent of the new medical science era, the“combination of physical and virtual”new teaching mode, which integrates 3D printing technology and mixed reality (MR) technology, is expected to solve this problem and help medical students master cardiac ultrasound knowledge more quickly. This paper will explore the application, advantages and prospects of the“combination of physical and virtual”teaching mode integrating 3D printing and mixed reality technology in cardiac ultrasound teaching.
