Research on Interdisciplinary Curriculum Construction in Design Major from the Perspective of New Quality Productivity

Abstract: New quality productivity is a productivity mainly characterized by new technologies, new economies, and new business models. It emphasizes innovation driven as a key element of productivity, promoting the leap of productivity. The proposal and rapid development of new quality productivity are of great significance to contemporary design major education. This article deeply analyzes the current situation of interdisciplinary teaching and research in design majors at home and abroad, as well as the development trend of interdisciplinary curriculum construction. It proposes the role of interdisciplinary curriculum construction in the development of new quality productivity and the cultivation of composite design talents, and elaborates on specific practical plans to cultivate composite design talents.
