Abstract: In recent years, digital technology has rapidly developed and become an effective way to empower large-scale personalized and innovative teaching. The participatory teaching model advocates student learning and development as the center, using rich teaching methods and diverse teaching forms to encourage students to actively participate in the teaching process and learning activities, master knowledge, and innovatively apply it to practical language situations. This article focuses on exploring the path of integrating participatory teaching mode into the reform of college English teaching in the context of digital empowerment of higher education reform, continuously meeting the learning needs of students, improving the effectiveness of college English teaching, and ultimately achieving the goal of cultivating high-level abilities and enhancing comprehensive literacy.
