Challenges, Principles, and Paths of Empowering the Reform and Development of Higher Vocational Education through the Integration of Industry and Education in Industries and Communities

Abstract: Enterprises, together with high-level universities and vocational colleges in the industry, jointly lead the establishment of an industry education integration community, which is an important measure to promote multi-party collaboration and solve the institutional barriers of vocational education integration, industry education integration, and science education integration. The article summarizes the practical difficulties in the construction of industry education integration communities, and proposes an operating mechanism with strong institutional guarantees and sufficient supply of conditions on the premise of win-win cooperation between government, industny, enterprises, and schools, in order to achieve the benign operation of the industry education integration community, and then establish a channel for the integrated cultivation and growth of vocational college students, optimize the structure of vocational education, and enhance the key core abilities of vocational college talent cultivation within the industry education integration community, and jointly promote the high-quality development of vocational education.
