Abstract: Micro-specialty program aims to cultivate undergraduates'core competencies of some Academic field or industrial Area, by series of modular curriculum. In contrast to traditional degree programs, they are characterized by interdisciplinary nature, precision in compact form, ability cultivation and adaptive flexibility, serving as a “pilot zone” to respond to the societal demands of the AI-driven digital era. This study focuses on the mechanism development at the university level by employing stakeholder theory, and draws on the practical experience of Shenzhen University to propose the mechanism construction from four dimensions, program orientation, curriculum development, operational management, and platform establishment, which offers valuable guidance for universities implementing micro-specialty programs.
