Abstract: In the construction of the new liberal arts, optimizing the talent cultivation strategy for management majors in applied universities is particularly crucial. It is not only an important cornerstone of the construction of the new liberal arts system, but also a necessary path to respond to the needs of the times and cultivate future management talents. This article combines the demand of the era for the cultivation of undergraduate talents in management and economics in applied universities under the background of the new liberal arts, and elaborates on the mismatch between traditional undergraduate talent cultivation in management and the requirements of the new liberal arts. It proposes a talent cultivation framework aimed at reshaping a multidimensional, interdisciplinary, and innovative integration. This framework is closely centered around four core elements: knowledge system reconstruction, curriculum optimization, training mode innovation, and training mechanism improvement.
