Abstract: Deepening the reform of curriculum teaching is the key for higher education to achieve the cultivation of high-quality talents. As a compulsory course for students majoring in agronomy and horticulture in colleges and universities, plant physiology should emphasize practical effect in teaching and serve the scientific research and production practice of related industries and industrial fields. In this paper, some college teachers do not have a deep understanding of the teaching materials and the goal of talent training is not clear. The important and difficult points of teaching are not prominent, and the class time arrangement is unreasonable; The teaching method is backward and the students'main position is neglected. The problems of teaching evaluation are unscientific and imperfect, and the feasible optimization measures are discussed. In order to improve the teaching effect of the course, train more outstanding talents, and promote the high-quality development of the industry, industry and scientific research.
