Abstract: Extensive and deepening application of information technology in the field of education, it is effectively promoting the normalization of blended learning modes. Based on Merrill's component display theory, online and offline learning content is designed and arranged, targeting different learning objectives, and blended learning activities are designed across“pre-class”,“in-class”, and“post-class”phases. Experimental research has found that in blended learning, students'problem-solving, decision-making, critical thinking, and innovative thinking abilities are generally enhanced. Finally, suggestions for designing blended learning activities are proposed from three levels: learning objectives, learning experience, and learning scaffolds.
