Research on the Path of Cultivating Business Burmese Language Talents from the Perspective of High Quality Development of Yunnan Port Economy

Abstract: Lack of talent is an important factor restricting the development of Yunnan port economy. Based on this, this article first introduces the port economy and its development situation, as well as the problems and bottlenecks encountered by Yunnan in the process of port economy development, and elaborates on the importance of cultivating business Burmese language talents in the development of port economy. Secondly, a survey was conducted on the current situation of business Burmese language talent cultivation in Yunnan universities, as well as the talent demand of the main industries engaged in business Burmese language. Finally, five paths for business Burmese language talent cultivation were proposed. We will establish a business Burmese language course with interdisciplinary, cross disciplinary, and cross-cultural characteristics, optimize and integrate practical teaching of business Burmese language, reform the classroom model for cultivating business Burmese language talents, create a dual teacher team for school enterprise cooperation, and improve the evaluation mechanism for school enterprise cooperation.
