Abstract: In recent years, promoting the integration of industry and education and focusing on cultivating innovative and entrepreneurial talents has become an important component of the talent training model in higher education institutions. At present, there are still problems in innovation and entrepreneurship education in applied universities, such as inaccurate positioning of talent training goals, low achievement conversion rate, lack of real practical environment, lack of professional teaching staff, and low awareness of students'independent innovation and entrepreneurship. This article conducts research on the cultivation path of“double innovation”ability for students in applied universities under the background of industry education integration. It proposes to use the OBE education concept as a guide to construct an integrated innovation and entrepreneurship education system of“teaching, learning, doing, competition, and evaluation”, improve students'“double innovation”ability, enhance the quality of applied talent cultivation, and promote the construction of applied universities.
