Discussion and Analysis of Engineering Mechanics Curriculum Reform in Private Undergraduate Colleges

Abstract: The private colleges and universities constitute a diversified higher education system together with the public colleges and universities. It is a common problem that the students of the private colleges and universities are weak. Many private colleges and universities offer engineering management majors. Engineering Mechanics is a basic course with complex concepts and theorems, strong theory and logic, and abstract formula reasoning, which is difficult for students in private colleges and universities to learn and understand. Combined with the training objectives, specialty characteristics and student source characteristics of applied talents in private colleges and universities, the exploration of engineering mechanics teaching reform have been carried out to improve the comprehensive quality and ability of students.
