Research on the Practical Teaching System of Art and Design Majors under the OBE Concept

Abstract: Practical teaching is an important link for students to experience the project process and understand specific work tasks, and is a bridge that connects theoretical knowledge and industry needs. The article systematically analyzes the characteristics of practical teaching under the OBE (Outcome-Based Education) concept. In response to the prominent problems in practical teaching of art and design majors, it adheres to the concept of results oriented, student-centered, and continuous improvement, and follows the principle of determining ability goals based on job requirements and reverse design. It elaborates on the construction of a“One Body, Four Wings”practical teaching system for art and design majors from four dimensions: target system, content system, condition construction system, and evaluation system. Provide reference for improving the construction of practical teaching system in vocational colleges.
