Exploration of the Practical Path for Cultivating Applied Media Talents in the New Era—Taking Sichuan University of Media and Communications as an Example

Abstract

Abstract: With the profound transformation of the media industry, the demand for media talents in society and the industry has undergone tremendous changes. The state continuously encourages higher education institutions to adapt to the needs of the times, focusing on cultivating specialized talents for local and industry needs. Various higher education institutions actively respond to challenges, constantly try to reform the training mode of applied talents, and actively explore the cultivation of composite media talents that meet the needs of the country and the media industry. Sichuan Media College has made changes in the training mode of media talents from the aspects of building practical teaching platforms, constructing modern industrial colleges, carrying out project-based teaching, and combining competition and teaching, providing references for cultivating applied media talents.
