Construction and Practice of Formative Evaluation System for Hybrid Courses in Local Undergraduate University

Abstract: In response to the assessment and evaluation of mixed courses in local undergraduate university, a formative evaluation system for courses has been constructed based on the OBE concept, which including evaluation methods, evaluation content, evaluation standards, and continuous improvement. And the specific implementation methods and continuous improvement measures for course teaching assessment and evaluation have been developed. The practical results indicate that this evaluation system can effectively stimulate students’learning initiative, help them understanding their own shortcomings in the learning process, improving their engineering practice and innovation abilities, promoting mutual learning and progress between teachers and students, and the effective achievement of curriculum teaching objectives. The research results have been promoted and applied in the teaching of engineering hybrid courses in Nanchang Institute of Technology, and have certain reference value.
