Teaching Reform and Reflection on Marine Biological Resource Survey Course

Abstract: Building a maritime power is an important component of the socialist cause with Chinese characteristics, and cultivating maritime related professional talents that are suitable for the development of the country's maritime cause is the core content of strategic education for maritime power. Marine biological resource survey is a compulsory course that combines theory and practice offered by marine universities for students majoring in marine resources, marine management, and other fields. This article analyzes the problems and limiting factors in the teaching process of the course, and proposes suggestions and solutions from three aspects: innovating forms of cooperation and exchange, integrating high-quality teaching resources, and promoting subject exchange, in order to strengthen the construction of marine related disciplines and help cultivate marine talents.
