Research and Practice on Industry-Teaching Integration Cultivation Mode of Business English Majors in Local Universities Based on the Concept of OBE

Abstract: The OBE (Outcomes-Based Education) represents an educational philosophy and the integration of industry and education is a talent development model, both emphasizing demands of industry development and talent cultivation. These two aspects synergize significantly, forming a breakthrough in the integration of industry and education within the innovative education model for business English majors. This paper, based on an analysis of the research background and identified issues, deeply explores the applied innovative talent cultivation model for business English majors in local universities. It presents a comprehensive investigation into the construction thoughts and pathways of the integrated industry-education cultivation model from four aspects: educational objectives, curriculum framework, practical teaching, and evaluation systems.
