Research on the Application of BIM Technology in the Teaching of Housing Architecture under the Background of Engineering Education

Abstract

Abstract: This article outlines the goals and characteristics of BIM technology and engineering education, as well as the current teaching methods and challenges in housing architecture. It analyzes the impact of BIM technology on housing architecture teaching, and further delves into the specific application of BIM technology in various teaching stages of housing architecture, from design, construction to post maintenance management, as well as the practical and interactive teaching it promotes and the improvement of students'learning outcomes. This article aims to explore the specific application of BIM technology in the teaching of“Building Architecture”in the context of engineering education, hoping to provide valuable perspectives and insights for educators, scholars, and industry practitioners.
