Research on the Blended Teaching Mode Based on the “Rain Classroom” Platform—Taking the Course of Introduction to Linguistics as an Example

Abstract: “Rain classroom”is a new educational mode developed under the support of information technology, which has a beneficial role in promoting the development of blended teaching mode. It could help realize the purpose of improving the course teaching effect, monitor the teaching mode in real time, and improve the results of teaching management. The introduction to linguistics course in English major in Guangxi University of Foreign Languages has been arranged for a long time, which has formed a relatively complete teaching mode, and also provided certain support for students in the future graduation thesis topic. But there are still many problems in English in it, such as students'fear, low degree of subject integration, traditional teaching methods, and so on. In this regard, based on the course of introduction to linguistics, the implementation path of online and offline mixed teaching mode based on the“rain classroom”platform is put forward respectively from the dimensions of teaching design before, during and after class, and reflects on the teaching.
