Exploration and Practice of Cultivating Innovative Practical Ability of Materials Professional Talents Based on Metallographic Competition

Abstract

Abstract: In order to expand the new mode of cultivating innovative talents, the National Modern Industrial College of Intelligent Manufacturing Equipment has explored new ways to improve the quality of professional talent cultivation through the use of the metallographic skills competition platform. Taking Yangzhou University School of Mechanical Engineering as an example to organize students majoring in materials to participate in the National Undergraduate Metallographic Skills Competition, this paper analyzes the changes in students'professional learning enthusiasm, innovative practical ability, team competition awareness, and comprehensive quality. Through competitions, expanding channels for professional talent cultivation, reforming curriculum practice teaching, deepening students'understanding and understanding of the profession, and cultivating students'persistent style, it is a good paradigm for improving the innovative and practical ability of professional talents.
