Abstract: Innovation and entrepreneurship education in Chinese universities has achieved significant development in the past 20 years. However, the current landscape of innovation and entrepreneurship education still presents numerous challenges. Insufficient emphasis on innovation and entrepreneurship education in some universities, an inadequately established innovation and entrepreneurship education framework, and a gap between curriculum instruction and practical applications are among the prevailing issues. Consequently, it is essential for applied universities with business management programs to elevate the significance of innovation and entrepreneurship education and seamlessly integrate it into the professional educational paradigm. This necessitates the establishment of a robust innovation and entrepreneurship education framework, merging theoretical course instruction with practical teaching methods, incorporating entrepreneurial project simulations, and establishing platforms for innovative entrepreneurship. These efforts collectively empower students to enhance their innovation and entrepreneurship capacities, ultimately facilitating more effective societal contributions.
