Practice of Diversified Assessment System in Genetics Teaching of Agronomy Specialty

Abstract: In order to change the drawbacks of traditional genetics teaching that uses exams as the final assessment and evaluation model, the author and her genetics teaching team have adopted information technology methods and utilized online resources such as genetics online websites, MOOC platforms, and questionnaire stars to conduct diversified assessments and evaluations in the genetics teaching process. Specific assessment models include online and offline speeches, stage quizzes, theme reports and debates, and professional papers, effectively enhancing students' interest and enthusiasm in genetics courses, enhancing the comprehensive quality of students majoring in agriculture, and achieving good teaching results.
